News & posts¶
A section for administrators: how to publish posts to your group through the bot itself — by sending them to a private chat, by reposting in reply, and also by scheduling publications in advance.
🚀 The main thing: send a post to the bot — it will publish it to your group¶
The simplest way to publish:
- Once, link your group:
/news_settingsin a private chat with the bot → pick your group from the list. (Or/news_settingsin the group itself → "🔗 Link this group to my private chat".) - Send the bot the
/repostcommand in a private chat — repost mode turns on (for 5 minutes). - Send or forward the post to the bot "as is" — text, photo, video or GIF.
- The bot will publish it to the linked group with the configured subscription footer at the bottom.
Three important details
- The mode is single-use: the very first post you send switches it off. The 5 minutes are a window in which to send one post, not a continuous mode. For the next one —
/repostagain. - Without a link the bot stays silent in a private chat: there is no group context in a private chat, so it simply does not know where to publish. In a group no link is needed — reposting in reply works there (see below).
- Text, photos, videos and GIFs are accepted. Stickers, voice messages, audio and files will not work in this mode — use reposting in reply for those.
To leave the mode early, use the /news command.
🔗 Linking a group (/news_settings)¶
The link tells the bot which group exactly to publish what you send it in a private chat.
- The list contains only the groups where you are an administrator and the bot is present.
- Rights are checked every time you publish: if your admin status has been removed or the bot has been kicked out, the link will not work.
- The linked group is the only target of your publications. One is active at a time; to change or remove it —
/news_settingsagain (the "🔓 Unlink" button).
For the bot owner
The owner and testers publish to global targets (/news_settings → 🎯 Targets) and need no link — that is where /repost 2, /repost all, the "Humor" mode and the scraper source management are available.
🔁 Reposting in reply (works in a group too)¶
/repost in reply to a post publishes exactly that post. This path works anywhere — both in a group and in a private chat — and accepts any type of attachment. In a group the post is published to that same group, and specifically to the topic where you gave the command.

Parameters can be combined: /repost all preview.
Albums (media groups) — only in reply
To publish the whole album as a single post, use /repost in reply to it — the bot will collect all the photos/videos and publish them as a media group with the footer. In the mode (without a reply) the album will not be assembled: Telegram sends it in parts, and only the first one gets published.

The target is the same as for /repost: your group (linked or current), and for the owner — the global targets (2, all).
/scheduled— list of scheduled posts (you see only your own);/unschedule <code>— cancel a scheduled publication.
✍️ Subscription footer¶
A footer with a subscription link is added to reposts. It is configured separately for each group or channel in the "News & reposts" section of the web menu or the dashboard:

The footer is always in the same message as the post: if the text is too long, the bot will trim it so that the footer fits. Other people's promo footers from forwarded posts are cut out automatically.
Auto-link
If news_footer_url is empty and the target is public (@channel), the bot will build the link https://t.me/channel itself. For a private target or a numeric chat_id, there is no auto-link — set news_footer_url manually.
🎭 "Humor" mode (bot owner)¶
/humor (also /meme, /mem) — like a repost, but without a footer and straight into the saved "Humor" topic. Unlike a repost, the mode is reusable: send memes one after another without repeating the command.
A saved topic named "Humor" is required — go into the relevant group topic and run /save_topic Humor. The mode is hard-wired to the owner's global target and topic, so it is available only to them.
Switching modes
/news — exit from any mode ("Repost"/"Humor") and return to normal news processing. Run /news between modes so you do not mix up where the next post will go.
